About Us

Our company is named after America’s first public health nurse Lillian Wald. She lightened the load for families and fiercely advocated for women and children throughout her career.

Sarah Nadimpalli RN, PhD had a scary in-home child caregiver experience that resulted from her own self-search.Ā After this experienceĀ she was riddled with parental guilt and exited the workforce for a period of time.
This led her to build BookLilli. She learned that the safest, most trusted, and luxury sources of in-home care were nanny agencies. Although nannies agencies traditionally focus on 1:1 nanny placements, she realized many agencies have underutilized pools of wonderful, pre-vetted caregivers available for occasional caregiving hours. Sarah is thrilled to help parents better access and book these caregivers with ease and simplicity through the BookLilli platform.

Steve Frank is BookLilli’s co-founding engineer and has been on the founding team of three startups. His wealth of expertise in customer service, technology, and experiencing pain points around finding a sitter for date night fuels his mission to help make BookLilli soar.
